12 seahorses have arrived from Valencia in Spain
Visitors to Fota Wildlife Park this weekend will be greeted by new arrivals at the Tropical House..
The 12 seahorses came from L’ Oceanográfic in Valencia in Spain and are made up of seven males and five females and this is the first time seahorses have lived at Fota
The Pot-bellied seahorse is one of the largest types of seahorse in the world averaging about 12 inches in length.
Fota hopes to breed the seahorses once they reach maturity
