New Campaign to raise awareness of Synthetic Drugs launched in Cork

The sister of an 18 year old Cork teenager who died after taking a synthetic drug at a house party in the city in January, has launched a new drug awareness campaign.
Nicole Ryan from Millstreet began the "Legal Highs, Lethal Lows" campaign to highlight the dangers of syntehtic drugs following the death of her brother Alex after he took the "N-Bomb" drug at house party in Greenmount..
Nicole believes that had her brother known the dangers of these drugs, which were previously available in Head shops in Cork, he would not have taken them.
As part of her campaign, a series of stark posters will be displayed in night clubs and pubs in the city and county, in a bid to highlight the potential dangers of taking drugs that are availble on line.
Speaking to RedFM News Nicole says she hopes the death of her brother acts as a wake up call to others:
