New deal for over-stretched borrowers
The Central Bank has announced a new scheme that aims to relieve the pressure on Ireland's over-stretched borrowers. The scheme will allow struggling borrowers to restructure their loans and avail of debt write-offs The aim of the pilot scheme is to take pressure off borrowers who owe money to multiple lenders including banks, credit unions and credit card firms
