New Figures Show A Further Rise In The Number Of Patients Waiting To Get Operations In Ireland
That's according to the Irish Patients' Association
A record of almost 627 thousand people are waiting for their first hospital outpatient consultation.
The National Treatment Purchase Fund stats show that's a jump of nearly 4,000 in a single month.
Irish Patients' Association spokesperson, Stephen McMahon says the rise in waiting lists is causing upset for patients:
