A new Government review recommends legalising medicinal cannabis.

The HPRA report will say it should be used to treat a limited number of medical conditions such as multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.

Cork mother Vera Twomey has been one of the leading campaigners lobbying for the legislation as her daughter suffers from a rare form of epilepsy which she claims is alleviated by CBD cannabis oil.
