New regulations on school uniforms being urged

The Minister for Education is being urged to bring in new regulations on school uniforms, with potential savings of thousands of euro for families. Schools are being urged to "Can the Crest" and allow generic uniforms to be used. A parenting website says this could save families around 300 euro per child each year.
