New Speed Cameras To Be Installed In Cork
25 speed cameras are to be installed at locations across the city and county. The private GoSafe camera vans are currently in operaion at 47 locations since November 2010. The new Cork locations will see cameras in places such as; Ballygarven, Killeens, Ballintemple, and Bishopstown. Gardaí say 48% of all fatal collisions in the five-year period from 2006 - 2012 occured in those locations.
