New tourism initiative launched Leeside

It's hoped thousands of new jobs will be created over the coming years.
It's hoped an additional 9,000 jobs will be created over the next five years in Cork.
That's one of the objectives of a new tourism initiative which was launched this morning at Cork Airport.
The aim of the strategy is to grow tourism in Cork by promoting a collective strategy which will include brand ambassadors and initiatives such as unified tourism ticketing to enhance the visitor experience.
Speaking to Cork's RedFM Chairman of the Cork Tourism Strategic Taskforce Ger O'Mahony says they have set ambitious targets for the region.
