New US routes from Cork Airport a boost to the region.

Minister for the Marine Simon Coveney says the new routes announced for Cork Airport sends a powerful message about the future of the region.
His comments come as Norwegian Air will operate a direct service to Boston from next May, which will run up to five times a week.
The airline also announced a Cork-Barcelona route which will which will take off in the same month and it's hoped another transatlantic route to New York will get off the ground in 2017.
Minister Coveney says he is confident the region will have the numbers to sustain the routes and he told RedFM News, that Cork is set to challenge the capital:
