New weather warnings issued for Cork
It follows the escalation of a flood alert for Bandon.
Two new weather warnings have been issued for Cork.
A coastal flood warning which comes into effect from 9pm tonight will see strong winds, high tides and heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, a status Yellow Wind Warning has also been issued Leeside.
It comes as property owners in Bandon are bracing themselves for potential flooding as the flood risk in the area has been elevated to a Code Orange.
This means there is a serious risk of flooding in the town and property owners are being advised to take the usual precautions.
