Nine cases of suspected poisoning linked to e-cigarettes reported

Nine cases of suspected poisoning linked to e-cigarettes were reported by doctors in the first three months of the year. That is according to figures from the National Poisons Information Centre. It is the same number reported for the whole of 2013. The incidents between January and March included concerns raised for five children who had ingested nicotine. Two of them were under five, and three of them showed symptoms of poisoning.
