No compromise in row over water charges

Fine Gael and Fianna Fail appear no closer to any kind of compromise in the row over water charges.

Fine Gael is sticking by its position that it can't introduce any legislation which doesn't include ANY water charges at all - even if the committee, set up as part of its deal with Fianna Fail, calls for their total abolition.

Speaking in Brussels this evening, Enda Kenny has again said the Government will NOT facilitate any law which breaks EU rules:
