North Cork communities outraged over delay in roll out of broadband

Communities in 22 villages across North Cork are outraged after the government confirmed that they will not be receiving proper broadband services until at least 2017. Businesses and homeowners say they're devastated with such a delay in the rollout of the National Broadband Plan in North Cork. The plan was announced in late 2014 with the aim to deliver reliable high speed broadband throughout the country. However, large parts of North Cork will have to wait until next year to get connected.
