North Cork Man Who Had Been Fundraising For Air Ambulance Service Becomes First To Use It

The man has paid tribute to the service
Liam Riordan from Rathcoole had been fundraising for The Helicopter Emergency Medical Service which is based out of Rathcoole Aerodrome in Millstreet.
Two days later he fell off a ladder while painting and says without the air ambulance and the time it saved in getting him to hospital his prognosis would have been much worse.
The service went live one month ago and in that time it has delivered 56 missions.
Speaking to RedFM News Liam says they saved his life:
