Norwegian Air not concerned about ongoing debate on labour laws
Norwegian Air say the ongoing debate about labour laws in the US is not on their radar.
It comes as the inagural flight from Cork to Boston Providence is due to take off on the 1st of July.
Norwegian air insists that the flights from Cork are consistent with the terms of the EU Open Skies agreement.
The airlines licence application stalled for two years, but following intense lobbying by Cork airport that went all the way to the Oval office, the licence was granted earlier this year.
Speaking to RedFM News Head of Communications with Norwegian Air Stewart Buss says since the licence to fly from Ireland was granted, the company have created hundreds of jobs on both side of the Atlantic:
