Nova Broadband's network was hit by a cyber attack this afternoon
Nova, which are based in Hollyhill, had to shut down its network because of the attack but normal service has now resumed

The successful broadband solutions company, which has been operating on Leeside since 2005, has thousands of customers in Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Laois.
Nova says there was no compromise of their systems and no data was accessed.
