O'Donovan Brothers to begin countdown to Christmas Leeside

Cork City Council have announced Olympic Heros Gary and Paul O'Donovan will switch on the Christmas Lights for 2016.
The famous Skibbereen brothers will begin the countdown to Christmas on Sunday November the 13th on Patricks Street.
Gary and Paul won the Silver medal in the Lightweight Double Schulls at the Rio Olympics earlier this year, a first for Irish rowing.
The Cork Business Association along with the Council are encouraging people to come into the city centre and shop locally in the lead up to Christmas.
Speaking to RedFM news Lord Mayor of Cork City Cllr. Des Cahill says the brothers will light up the Christmas Lights like they lit up the Olympics:
