One of Cork's largest Further Education and Training colleges launches ambitious new five year strategy
St John's College say the plan will enhance their current course offering as well as allow them to develop new practical courses such as bike repair, sustainable craftsmanship and waste management.
The college will also focus on climate action and sustainability.
Speaking to RedFM News, principal of St John's College, Paula McCarthy says they expect a huge boost in the number of people looking to upskill after the pandemic:
"We are expecting that people, because they're working from home may have that opportunity to be able to engage remotely in learning. So the limitations that would have been there previously for people and having to commute and come to the college, they're no longer there. People can now access from wherever they are- in Cork and outside."
