OpenEir announces €55 investment in Cork's broadband infrastructure

A €55 million investment in Cork's broadband infrastructure has been announced by open eir.
Boherbue, Coachford, Glengarriff, and Minane Bridge are among the latest communities Leeside to be added to the high-speed fibre broadband.
Over 170,000 homes and businesses in Cork now access to high-speed fibre broadband and open eir say they're planning to grow this number to 200,000 by 2020.
Speaking to RedFM News Peter Clarke of open eir says they have ambitious plans for the expansion of high-speed fibre broadband in Cork:
