Passport office warns of payment glitch and says some applications which were paid for were not processed
The passport office is warning people it has experienced a payment glitch and some applications which were paid for were not processed.
The Irish Passport Service says there was a payment issue which resulted in customers being charged, but their application was not successful.
It says the issue has been fixed and all impacted customers are currently receiving refunds.
Anyone who applied on April 30th, and receives a refund from the Passport Service, should apply again.
