Pay Parking is suffocating Douglas businesses

Business Owners in Douglas are lashing out at the pay parking system in the village Pay parking was introduced in Douglas in May 2012, since then traders have described the system as "Destroying" their livleyhoods The local authority initally introduced the pay parking with the intention of increasing turnover of car spaces. Local traders are now calling on the County Council to reform the system. Speaking to RedFM News Liam Power business owner in Douglas village is challenging the council to take away the warden system in place for one month to see what difference it makes.
