People Changing Habits For Environment, But More Needs To Be Done To Combat Climate Change
That's according to West Cork climate activist Saoi Ó Connor who was speaking ahead of a student climate change protest in the City this afternoon.
The Fridays for Future group are calling on the government to put the environment ahead of economic growth and are urging cabinet to drop their support for the potential importation of fracked gas into Cork and Shannon.
Students will be gathering at Lapps Quay just after midday and will march on Merchants Quay, Patrick Street and Grand Parade before holding a rally on Lapps Quay.
Speaking to RedFM News, Soai Ó Connor outlines some of the changes people have been making since the group first highlighted climate change:
