People urged not to use inflatable dinghy-type devices at the beach

Cork County Council say there's has been a number of call outs to people who have gotten into difficulty while using the devices at the beach.
It follows a similar warning by Irish Water Safety after rescue services were called to help three people who blew out to sea on a supermarket-type dinghy off the Cork coast last week.
Water Safety Development Officer with Cork County Council Caroline Casey told the Neil Prendeville Show that a number of emergency services have had get involved after people drifted out to sea in the dinghies this Summer:
