Flooded properties Leeside experiencing pest control issues

It's believed that the mild weather experienced before the New Year has allowed rats to thrive.
The number of homes Leeside that are experiencing pest control problems since Storm Frank flooding has more than doubled.
That's according to the Cork branch of a pest control firm who say that demand for their service in rural areas has increased and is now almost the same as the demand in the city centre.
It's believed that the mild weather experienced before the New Year has allowed rats to thrive.
Meanwhile the heavy rain has forced rodents to search for new homes as their underground burrows are water logged.
Speaking to RedFM News Trevor Hayden of ‘Complete Pest Control’ says there's been a dramatic increase in the number of households in Cork who are experiencing problems with rats.
