Polish Man Fights For His Life After Cork Crash
A Polish man, who was knocked down by a car on St Patrick’s Day, is fighting for his life in Cork University hospital. The 28 year old man, was crossing a road in Youghal when he was struck by a car at around 8pm on Sunday. The accident happened at Seafield and it’s believed the man, who had lived in Youghal for a number of years, was crossing the road from the grotto towards the greyhound track when he was struck by a silver Renault Laguna. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and fully cooperated with gardaí. The seriously injured man was rushed to CUH and it's understood he has a number of serious injuries, including internal injuries.
