Port Of Cork Planning For The Worst Case Scenario In The Run Up To Brexit 

The port are to double to the size of its customs building in Ringaskiddy due to the threat of the UK crashing out of the EU without a deal on October 31st.

Management say it's likely that increased HGV traffic will travel to France and Spain from Cork if a hard Brexit occurrs.

The Irish Examiner reports that the port is investing €85 million to develop expanded cargo handling facilities at it's Ringaskiddy deepwater terminal.
