Pregnant women urged to get flu vaccine

Pregnant women and people with underlying health problems are being urged to get the flu vaccine.

It comes after the HSE says up to 10 people have died as a direct result of the virus, with other indirect fatalities.

A child is among the confirmed fatalities.

Dr Kevin Kelleher, Assistant National Director for Public Health with the HSE, says anyone with flu symptoms should try to avoid spreading the virus:
