President extends his congratulations to Leaving Cert Students
President Michael D Higgins has congratulated the thousands of young people around the country who received their Leaving Cert results today.
More than 58-thousand students received State Exam results today with nearly 6,500 of those students sitting the Leaving Cert at exam centres around Cork in June
President Higgins says he hopes that all of them can receive their results with undiminished confidence in the future.
There was concern about the number of people having issues with maths - with 4-thousand people failing the paper.
