Protest action suspended at Churchfield waste disposal facility

The Northside Says No to Rubbish committee has moved to suspend all protest action at Churchfield's waste disposal facility while efforts to find a solution to residents' difficulties with the site are ongoing. Locals have held several protests in rcent weeks as they claim the operations are attracting vermin, a foul smell and heavy traffic volumes which they say are unsuitable in a residental area. They want the operations at the Churchfield facility to be relocated to the Bottlehill superdump.
