Protest Over Housing Crisis To Take Place Outside City Hall

The rally gets underway at 5pm this evening
Hubs, Hotels and B&Bs are not homes.
That's the message from the organisers of the Raise the Roof housing campaign who are staging a rally outside City Hall Cork this afternoon to call for radical action on the housing crisis.
A number of trade unions, political parties, students unions, housing agencies and community groups will be talking part in the rally which has been called in support of a motion by the Lord Mayor Mick Finn for action on rent certainty and action on evictions.
Speaking to RedFM News, Barry Murphy from Raise the Roof says the government needs to admit there is a crisis.
