Protest underway on Lapps Quay
Protesters remain outside the KBC Bank on Lapps Quay this lunchtime.
The Tomas MacCurtain Group say they have organised the protest to raise awareness of the amount of evictions taking place across Cork on a daily basis.
The bank is currently closed to the public while the protest is ongoing.
Gardai are on the scene as up to 50 protesters remain outside the bank with large placcards in what they say is a peaceful protest.
