Public health professor says NPHET are being vague on antigen tests

The National Public Health Emergency Team is being vague on how antigen tests are used, according to one Health Professor.
International travel is set to resume on July 19th however rapid testing is not going to be used to facilitate it.
The Chief Medical Officer says the tests can’t be seen as a green light.
But Professor of Health Systems at DCU, Anthony Staines says antigen testing would be very helpful for travel.
"We could use antigen testing in the aircraft sector.
"We would test everybody at the airport, we do it as part of security screening.
"The airports seem confident, they have the space to do it.
"This avoids the situation where you're on an aircraft with somebody spreading virus around, and there have been a couple of significant aircraft outbreaks."
