Queues form Leeside to show solidarity with the people Paris

It follows the opening of a Book of Condolences at City Hall.

The City's Lord Mayor says the public response to the opening of a Book of Condolences at City Hall in the wake of the Paris attacks has been phenomenal.

The Book was opened yesterday and queues have been reported at the Atrium with young and old alike all wishing to express their sympathies.

The French flag continues to fly at half mast and City Hall was also lit up red, white and blue as a gesture of solidarity with the people of Paris.

Lord Mayor Cllr Chirs O'Leary says their examining the possibility of putting on a Remembrance Service in the city this weekend.
