Rates hike on the cards for Cork Businesses ahead of council meeting

Speculation is mounting that a commercial rates hike is on the cards for city traders ahead of tomorrow's budget meeting in City Hall.
It's reported that there are two main proposals on the table - a 2.9% rates increase or a 1.5% increase in conjunction with a hike in parking costs.
Elsewhere Cork County Council have pledged to uphold their promise not to increase rates for traders in the county for at least five years.
