Re-opening of garda stations in West Cork a step closer
It's hoped a number of garda stations in West Cork will be re-opened in the coming months.
A full detailed review of the closure of Adrigole, Ballinspittle and Ballydehob garda stations has been requested by Fine Gael TD Jim Daly following a meeting on closures with the Minister for Justice.
The Garda Representative Association has welcomed the development and says the loss of garda stations in West Cork in recent years has had a huge impact on both local communities and gardaí in the area.
