Rent In Cork Second Highest In Country
Rent in Cork City has risen by 6.8%.
The latest report from property website Daft.ie up to the end of June shows rents in the city have now reached €1,122 a month, the second highest in the country.
The report is also cause for alarm for people seeking to rent in Cork county as rents have jumped up by 11.2% and now stand at €832
Rents in Dublin are now almost 20% higher than their peak in the Celtic Tiger at €1700 a month
Ronan Lyons from Daft says the number of properties available to rent is also at record lows:
