Reports Of Animal Cruelty At An All Time High

The ISPCA say 2018 was a recording breaking year for reports of animal cruelty
The organisation released it's annual Inspectorate Report at its Equine Rescue Centre in Mallow this morning detailing 18 successful prosecutions for cruelty to animals including 4 cases in Cork.
Over 17,000 calls for help were dealt with by ISPCA staff in 2018, while more than 1,100 animals were seized.
Speaking to RedFM News, Senior ISPCA Inspector Lisa O'Donovan says people should get in contact if they have any doubts about how an animal is being treated.
