Residents hit out at anti-social student behaviour Leeside as video goes viral
The video posted on YouTube shows students on Magazine Road making noise in the early hours of the morning.
Residents living near UCC have slammed the behaviour of students over the weekend as they made their way home in the early hours of the morning.
A video posted on YouTube showed a large group of students on Magazine Road singing, shouting and kicking bags of rubbish down the road late at night.
The Magazine Road Residents Association posted the video highlighting what they say is the misery felt by residents on a weekly basis.
It shows the students standing on walls in the front garden of a neighbours house singing and kicking bags of rubbish along the road.
UCC students union President Aidan Coffey told RedFM that there are sanctions in place against this type of behaviour however he admits this video clearly demonstrates that not everyone is getting the message.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Former Lord Mayor and resident of the area Catherine Clancy says the video is very damaging for the college.
