Restoration Works On The Daly Bridge, Also Known As The Shakey Bridge, Will Commence Next Month

They are due to begin on the 12th of August

The works will address the extensive corrosion and damage to the structure, at an estimated cost of 1.7 million euro.

Vegetation and graffiti removal, replacement of timber decking and suspension cables, as well as the installation of new public lighting are among the planned renovations.

The iconic structure in the City Centre is Ireland's only surviving pedestrian suspension bridge of its type and age.
