Returning Sinn Fein Councillor Says She's Had To Work Hard To Prove Herself

Danielle Twomey has been elected to Cork County Council
A returning Sinn Fein Councillor says she's had to work hard to prove herself over the past two years.
Danielle Twomey was speaking after she was elected to Cork County Council this afternoon.
Cllr Twomey was co-opted into the vacant Midelton seat when Pat Buckley was made a TD in 2016 and is the only Sinn Féin councillor in the county so far.
21 year old James O'Connor was also elected for Fianna Fáil, while Labour have their second seat after Cathal Rassmussen was elected from the Cobh local electoral area.
Speaking to RedFM News, a visibly emotional Danielle Twomey says she's honoured to be elected
