Motorists are being warned - that Gardaí will clamp down on irresponsible and risky behaviour on the roads over the coming weeks. The annual Christmas and New Year Road Safety Campaign is being launched today - by Gardaí, and the Road Safety Authority. 154 people have died on the roads so far this year - a reduction of 15 on the same period last year.
