Ronan O'Gara sends emotional thanks to team mates at Freedom of Cork ceremony
Ronan O'Gara is now a free man of the city of Cork.
The award was given to the 40 year old Munster and Ireland outhalf for his contribution to rugby over the past 20 years, which began for Munster in 1997.
Since then he has become Munster and Ireland's all time top scorer, holding the record for the most points scored in the Heineken Cup championship.
Ronan now joins Roy Keane, Sonia O'Sullivan and Sean Og O Halpin as the fourth sports person ever to receive the prestigous award.
Speaking at the ceremony an emotional Ronan O'Gara said he would not be in City Hall today without his team mates
