Row over CF beds at CUH could be resolved later
A row over the ring fencing of beds for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers at Cork University Hospital could be resolved later today... Build4Life is refusing to release the 2.3 million euro it raised for a new adult respiratory ward until the beds are ringfenced at CUH for CF patients... The hospital is offering "priority access" for CF patients however the charity is unhappy with this compromise... Talks have already taken place between the HSE, the charity and the hospital in an effort to resolve the issue and a further meeting is planned for today Joe Browne founder of Build4Life told Cork's RedFM why he's unwilling to release the funds until the beds are ring-fenced Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
