Royal Cork Yacht Club Postpone Tricentenary Celebrations Until 2021 Due To Covid-19 Restrictions
The Cork300 event was planned for 28th-30th of this month
The Crosshaven based sailing club event was due to take this weekend and had included a maritime parade in Cobh, a regatta and a Fastnet powerboat challenge.
A number of small activities will still take place during the weekend the mark the anniversary this weekend including an exhibition at the Sirius Arts Centre in Cobh
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence Simon Coveney and the Naval Service Commodore Michael Malone will also join Royal Cork Yacht Club members for a small ceremony at Haulbowline Naval Base.
