RSA reminds students to be visible on roads this Autumn

Four Children have died on Irish roads so far this year.

That according to figures released by the Road Safety autority, who say safety on the roads has to be a priority in back to school preparations.

It's warning parents to make sure their kids are visible on rural roads in particular while waiting for buses, and when walking or cycling to and from school.

Students are also being reminded to always wear their seatbelt when on the school bus.

The RSA says people should also be aware of the shorter evenings when planning travel from school.
