Scheme to tackle dereliction launched across Cork
A new scheme to tackle dereliction across Cork was launched today.
The Municipal Districts Streetscape, Painting, Sinage and Improvement scheme 2017 was launched by the County Mayor this afternoon in Passage West.
The scheme will give selected towns a "Health Check" examining economic, social and environmental measures that can be taken to improve the town.
Along with Passage West, other towns nominated in the county are Youghal, Bantry, Bandon, Charleville, Macroom , Kanturk and Cobh.
