Scouting Ireland to publish final report into historical sexual abuse in the organisation

Scouting Ireland will publish its final report into historical sexual abuse in the organisation this morning.
Child protection expert Ian Elliott was commissioned by Scouting Ireland over a year ago to investigate the extent of abuse.
In December 2018, it was revealed there were 212 known and alleged perpetrators and 317 alleged victims over the past 70 years.
An apology to survivors and victims of abuse in scouting will also be issued.
