Second 24-Hour Protest Demanding National Emergency Housing Committee To Take Place Today
A second 24 hour protest is taking place in the city today, demanding the Government set up a National Emergency Housing Committee.
Protestors will gather outside City Hall at 10am this morning and remain there overnight.
Cork's Housing Action Group launched its campaign last month, in the middle of the 'Beast from the East'.
Spokesperson Councillor Diarmaid O'Cadhla says the group plans to increase the frequency of their 24 hour protests, in Cork and other counties.
