Second Irish Rail Strike To Begin At Midnight

Thousands of commuters across Cork are facing travel chaos again tomorrow during the second rail strike.

SIPTU have stated the 24 work stoppage by Irish Rail will being at midnight tonight, and will see the doors of Kent Station closed for the duration.

A further three strike days by SIPTU and the National Bus and Rail Union members are planned for the 14th and 23rd of November and the 8th of December.

The NBRU says the strike revolves around a lack of pay rises for staff over the past ten years.
