Section of Cork to Limerick Road Closed Following Fatal Collision
A section of the N20 Cork to Limerick road remains closed this morning after a fatal crash between New Twopothouse and Buttevant last night.
Emergency services including units of the fire service responded to reports of a multi-vehicle collision at around 11pm at Ballybeg.
It's not yet known how many people were injured in the collision, however Gardaí say one person has died.
Gardaí in Mallow say the road will remain closed for most of the morning to facilitate a technical examination.
Northbound traffic is being diverted at NewTwopothouse, while southbound traffic is being diverted at Lisballyhea.
